I Made Yogi Sugiartha’s, AKA Ogik, expertise contributes to a wide variety of roles including dancer, choreographer and performance artist. She started dancing when she was 12 years old and became a professional in 2018.

Ogik has participated in various national and international stages such as Indonesian Dance Festival, Indonesia, Hela Tari Salihara, Indonesia, Salihara International Performing Art Festival, Indonesia, Festival Teater Jakarta, Indonesia, Yokohama Dance Collection, Japan, and Tokyo Festival Farm, Japan.

Ogik believes in working together to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. She constantly explores the dynamic potentiality of live art and performance, by integrating multiple mediums, based on realism and virtuosity.

As a non-binary artist who lives in a heteronormative country, Ogik thinks about gender construction in our current society. Hate propaganda, discrimination and public violence towards minorities, especially transgender women, makes her feel that there are no rights for the community.
